About Us

    Team Taco was started in late November 2000 at Darkknight's Wasteland when several of us decided to turn Forgotten-Taco's name
into a running joke.  We all added the [Taco] tag to our names, and the rest is history.  For those of you who don't know this history, here it
is:  a few weeks later, we learned of an open tournament being held at our other favorite server, MFOTS tournament server, and we decided
to make a go of it.  We've had fun getting organized, and we did quite well, making it to the semi-final round and nearly beating the eventual winner of the tournament.  Now we're in the process of making this a permanent organization.  We joined the OGL on February 25th, and we
look forward to playing some good matches there.

    Team Taco is above all here to have fun, but we are very serious about our fun.  We are committed to playing smart--we feel that tactics and teamwork are more important than individual skill, and as we continue to develop as a team, we hope to prove it.  We give all of our players the chance to play in matches, regardless of who is the "best."  That way everybody gets to have fun.  Winning matches is fun too, but that's second-
dary to our primary goal, which is to make sure everybody who joins Taco gets a taste of a "real" game of counter-strike, win or lose.

    If you think you'd like to be a member, or challenge us to a match, head over to our forum and post us a note.  If you are interested in challenging us outside of the OGL Open CS Ladder, we'd love to have a scrimmage or "just for fun" match.
